What did you learn this semseter? What did I do good as a teacher this semester, what can I improve as a teacher for next semester? Please be honest and you do not have to sign the post if that makes it easier for you to be honest.
This semester I learned a lot about communication and teamwork. I know we've been taught these things thoughout life, but in this class these topics went more deep than the basics. As a teacher I think you have done a good job listening to others emotions, trying to motivate us, and you done a good good job teaching us directions as clear as possible. I don't any improvments say because in my opinion you have been a good teacher so far. -Pooja shah
I learned a lot of team work and it was really fun to learn all of the knots and things like that. As a teacher I think you have done a great job. A lot of us haven't had a gym class like this ever and you have really taught us all of the things that we need to know for this class. I don't really have any things for you to improve on. -Allison Tomal
This semester I learned so much about myself and how to work with others. Through all the team building activities I learned how important it is to communicate. I learned how to know when to lead and when to follow. Through hearing all of the If You Really Knew Me's I learned how similar we all are and how much we can relate to people I had never even though i was remotely similar too. This class taught me to step out of my comfort zone and meet and trust new people. I honestly think you have done a great job this semester and can;t think og anything for you to improve one! -Michelle Baum
This semester I learned that its okay to be afraid. Trusting people to catch me from 7 feet up high is scary and sometimes its easier to put on a brave face. But my classmates made me feel comfortable to show my fear. I also learned that communication can really bring people together. I never thought we'd grow that much as a class and how it would impact our trust in the activities that we do in class. I think this is the best class ive ever taken because I learned emotionally and physically. Mr. H- don't change a thing because although I complain about working out I can do more pushups than I ever thought I could! -linda
this semester i learned how to trust people much better. i learned so much more about people and that inside, not everybody is as good and happy as they are on the outside. i really love how close this class has gotten; it definitely does not compare to my previous gym classes. H- i love how you care so much about your students. some teachers only care about how hard their students, and dont get me wrong-you want us to work hard! but you also care about the students' feelings and whats going on in their personal lives. i love that about you! because even though how much i hate working out and doing fitness, i can always look forward to 3rd period! :) -andrea
This semester, I learned all of the techniques for rappelling, such as knot-tying, setting up, putting on a harness, and actually going down. Besides that, I learned about other people through the If You Really Knew Me's, and I learned that people are more complex than they seem. As a teacher, you explained things well and kept calm through various situations, which is important for any authority figure. I would suggest making the fitness days more suitable for the majority of the class.
This semester I learned a lot about repelling, tying knots, and communicating with people. You did a great job communicating what you wanted us to do in all the activities clearly. You also did a good job listening to all of us and our concerns. I don't think you need to do anything better, you're already great.
this semester I learned a lot. This wasn't like most gym classes and I liked that! I learned how to communicate better with friends and with some people I didn't even know! You're a great teacher! I love how as we learn it seems like you're learning new things too!! I'm excited for next semester! I can't think of anything you need to improve on! - Anne Mahoney
I learned a lot this semester and not just about rappelling. I learned how to be a better leader, open up to others, help people when they need a little push, and how to work as a team with people. Mr. H is a great teacher and takes time to help anyone who needs it. I'm glad I ended up taking this class its a lot of fun!
I really learned a looooooot of trust this quarter. You need to step out of your normal group of friends and be open to just trusting new people. As a teacher, mr. H, you did such a good job opening up to us and allowing us to open up to you. You show that you are engaged and ready to listen whenever and you're always taking part in the activities we do. I really like having you as a teacher, you're so nice and just basically rock!
This semester I learned how to repel and tie knots and most importantly I learned how to listen and trust people. I love how close our class got by opening up to each other and that's what makes our class different from any other one. Mr.H you're honestly a great teacher. I love how comfortable you made us feel to be in your class and you give the best advice. I feel like anyone can open up to you and you'll be there to help. You really care about your students and that's what makes you great! (: Klaudia Zahuta
I liked the part when we did trust falls. At first, i could not really believe the people, but i realized that they are really trustful and now i can do whatever with them. Rappeling... i like it..sometimes.^^ -Jeesoo
I learned to trust others more even though I don't really know them. Doing the trust falls was the best part because it was exciting and involved a lot of trust. I like doing the team building exercizes, they are a fresh atmosphere from regular school.
This semester I learned how to trust, communicate and some repelling skills. I love the trust fall activity really much, also the "If You Really Knew Me" Mr. Hinojosa, you are awesome!!! When I told you my problems, you never let me felt that you were not interested in them, even though them were really boring, and you took them seriously. Anne Hou
This semester I learned a lot and became friends with a lot of new people. Also since we learned how to do knots and rappelling now I feel like I can use it when I go on vacation to the mountains this year. My family is really adventurous so this class is preparing me very well. This is by far one of the best gym classes ever. I can't wait till next semester! -Elena Knudsen
