  1. I loved this activity! It was really cool to see everyone working together to have us all go over the wall. We really had to trust each other and especially the people that were catching us and helping us over the wall. I especially liked it when someone was a little scared to do it as soon as they got over all of us clapped and cheered for them. And we all worked together to accomplish this.

  2. I think that so far this activity has been the most memorable activity so far. I wish to do something like this again because this really helped us know each other better. This activity got us closer together as a class since we had to support and trust each other. I really respect our class even more because the people who were scared got over the wall and everybody supported them. In this activity you get to see the other side of people the you don't get to in school very often and that's what makes this unique.

  4. this activity taught me that it's okay to be scared. My classmates made me feel comfortable with my fear and they were not forceful. They reassured me that they would get me over safely. Going over the wall was terrifying but the second time around was easier knowing that my classmates wouldn't let me fall.

  5. I thought that this activity was a lot of fun! it was cool to see how everyone in the class had to be dependent on each other to get over the wall. i also liked how we all cheered on people who were afraid of climbing the wall. i'm proud that everyone got over!

  7. I believe the hardest part of this activity was making everyone comfortable with going over. I knew that if I fell, I would fall on a mat or someone would catch me, but some people still were not comfortable with that. I think verbal support was just as important as the physical support.

  8. Over all I think this activity is what brought us even closer together it seemed. Everyone was really supportive and at first I was scared to go over but once I saw that the people holding us really had us I trusted them so much more especially when we went backwards I feel a lot better about doing trust things now.

  10. This was a really fun activity! I liked the fact that when we got a system going, everything went really smoothly. I don't think anyone had any trust issues. The only issues were some people's fear of heights and others' trouble getting carried or pulling themselves up the wall. We're a pretty good group, so the only problems were really the physical challenges.

  11. I liked this activity a lot but then again it was really really scary. To be honest, the first time around I didn't want to go because I didn't trust anyone. But the next day when we all went a second time I felt a lot better about it. I like when we do activities like this because I think it brings us together as a class.

  12. Honestly, i really liked climbing the wall; however, i have always been ok with heights and love climbing, so this activity maybe didn't hit home with me as much as it did with other people. i think that, for those who are afraid of heights or thought that this activity was dangerous, the completion of the task meant more. Definitely worth it, but worth more to some than others.

  13. I liked this activity a lot. At first i didnt want to go and i was skeptical about the whole thing. I really dont like being dependent and in this activity you had to be. I thinked it showed us as a class how well we can work together if we listen to one another!

  14. Ar first, i thought that Mr. H is kidding, but he was not. It was really scary to do climb the wall with the help of others. Honestly, I could not trust those people who lifted us up, but after I went over the wall first time, I really could trust them. At the end of the activity, I thought that I could climb again. This activity was awesome!

  15. This activity was surprisingly better than I expected. At first I saw the wall and was like no way am I doing this. But then I saw how people were trusting and supporting each other and it made it easier for me to get over. I think this is a really great exercise for this class.

  16. This activity was really hard at first, I had to get out of my comfort zone, and trusted other people. However, it was getting better when I climbed over the wall for the first time. It was really surprising that when i climbed back to other side, I felt really comfortable, I did trust others! I think this activity is really fun but also scary.

  17. After we did this "wall" activity, I had a bizarre feeling about the activity. To discover this uneasy feeling, I skimmed through some of the previous comments and attempted to recall some of my classmate's advice given during the discussion. For most of the time, my classmates seem to be sated by this activity. I was a little startled by how different I felt compared to others. It felt as if their comments were hyperboles of our recent success, excluding our precedent ones, because I myself know that we have untried this specific "wall" activity, but our success was familiar and possible.
Also, the "cynical me" was thinking maybe if we failed this one, we would be indifferent to our failure. Furthermore, This event would be insignificant to our presence, like the other failed events. Once a noted historian who delved into the "real" George Washington quoted, "... if he did fail, the result would be sad for America, catastrophic perhaps for himself and his companions, but no more than a tiny footnote in the history of mankind." I interpret this idea that we are succeeding in our own little group insignificant to the world. Thus, when we succeed, we try to elongate the excitement of our tiny success while we easily ignore our momentous failures. In addition, I wish to participate Mr.H's more worldly events that would aid us aim for influential successes in future. (I feel like these stuff we're doing is simple)

  18. Alright, well I thought it was fun. It wasn't very challenging for me, but I know other people had to work harder than me. Chris, wow, that is very deep.

  19. this was defiantly my favorite activity we've done in outdoor adventure so far. I feel like on one side of the wall we got to know each other because of all the down time we had waiting for our turn to go over. It was also really cool to see others conquering their fears by trusting others to get them over. I hope there are more activities like this in the future.

  20. It was kind of scary at first but after going over once it was a lit easier to trust people cause you knew they wouldn't drop you. I thought it was a great trust exercise.

  21. I think this activity was the most fun one we have done. It was scary to go up that high, but in a day of sitting in a ceramic chair for 7 hours, it was exhilarating to do something that involves danger. We worked together better as a group because it was not something that you could escape, everyone had to go over the wall, so everyone participated in how to make it work the best.

  22. I thought this was such a fun activity! I'm afraid of heights but with how we were able to come up with a safe way to get over the wall helped a lot. We were all depended on each other. I trusted the people who lifted me up to help get over the wall, and I had the same trust for the people that were on the other side of the wall waiting to catch me.

  23. I loved this activity. I thought it was a really good activity for trust because each step of the way you had to trust someone to not drop you, and I am a very trusting person so this activity was REALLY fun.

  24. This activity was very challenging. You really had to depend on a lot of people. It also took a lot of trust to use different people to get over the wall. It also made lots of people get over their fears

  25. A major fear I get every time is that 5 seconds where you have to trust everyone to hold you up there so you can grab te rope for yourself. Climbing really allows you to open up your comfort zone and trust people you never thought you would have before.
