Trust should look like all of us coming together and being able to be honest with each other and being able to be our selves. It should feel like we are all comfortable with each other because if we aren't then we won't be able to trust each other. And it should sound like all of us coming together and being able to talk about what ever we want.

openness should look like everyone smiling and not judging each other. It should feel like you should be able to express yourself without having to care what others think. It should sound like people making new friends and communicating without caring how others view you.

Participation should look like everyone coming to class and givinng in 100% of their effort. It should feel like everyone leaving their problems and stressors out of class and coming to gym to have fun together. It should sound like our whole class people trying new things and having fun.
ReplyDelete-Katherine Roussos
I think trust is the most important. If we are all trusting each other, that will lead to us being open to each other and also we will all participate in activities more easily. This trust within the class will get us all to talk and respect each other more.
ReplyDelete-Pooja Shah
To add more to the above response of mine, I think that trust in class should feel like you can tell anyone anything you feel whether it's fear, sadness, and etc. When their is trust you can undoubtly do anything comfortablely. When their is trust you feel more confident with others and within yourself.
Delete-Pooja Shah
I think taht the trust is the most important trait because if we do not trust each other, then we won't participate the acitivities, there will be no safety, or the openess that we could share our feelings. We have to trust and repect each other in order to have appropriate and fun class.
ReplyDelete-Jeesoo Won
While "Participation" has its own meaning, we as a class were able to bring upon different words to describe "Participation" as a category. Devotion, inspiration, animation, and optimism are top traits to follow as we go on in our class.
ReplyDelete-Chris Park-
energy should look like everybody putting there all into whatever activity were doing. it should sound like the squeak of sneakers. it should feel like you could run forever.
ReplyDeletekyle Dunnington
I think being open is important for this class to work. Being open should look like a bunch of friendly faces ready to get to know new people, and the class listening to each other. It should sound like classmates being honest with each other and talking to each other freely without judgment. Lastly, the atmosphere should feel free and comfortable in an open environment.
ReplyDeleteMichelle Baum
Energy should look like everybody's having a good time and not complaining. It should feel like we're all really pumped up and excited for whatever activity we're doing. It should sound like laughter and cheering and socializing.
ReplyDelete-Soumik Biswas
I think openness to new activities would be dsiplayed with not groaning when Mr. H introduces a new activity, being willing to participate even if it sounds not like our forte, and being nice to new people in our groups that we don't know we'll.
ReplyDeleteMotivation should be encouragement. No one should have a fear of doing something with help of motivation. Everyone should motivate everyone with a struggle they have, which should be positive words and encouragement. Helping someone gain confidence all starts with a little motivation.

ReplyDeleteTrust because in order to climb and be held in mid air you have to trust people who are in your group.
ReplyDeleteTrust should look like everybody putting their back together and have their faith on each other. Trust should sound like we are cheering for each other and helping people to overcome the crisis. Also, trust should make people feel like we are a family, we believe in each other.

Participation means no eye rolling, giving our opinions when asked, trying in all of the activities, and having a good attidute. It sounds like talking and breathing heavily (after workouts). It looks like all of us having fun and putting forth our best effort.
ReplyDeleteNora Bosslet
Openness should be the readiness of students to participate because of the safe, non-judgemental environment of the class; Openness is the lack of the fear of judgment and the willingness to share their thoughts or contribute to the conversation/activity
ReplyDeleteLauren Romag
Trust should feel like jumping off from great heights and having that reassurance that someone will catch you. It should look like encouragement among our peers and sound like a room full of "I can do its"

Being safe should look like people putting equipment on right, making sure there's nothing someone could trip on, and not being judgemental. It should sound like people communicating making sure that everything is okay for them to continue or to stop.
ReplyDelete-Kelly Dudar
Courage. Courage to be able to trust everyone in the class, when climbing, and when opening up to others. Its a great trait to have and if someone is continually knocked down they will lose some of that. So everyone should be accepting and try to be a little more like that person each day.
ReplyDeleteKelly P.
I think being open is the most important because if people in class are open, everything will run a lot smoother and more fun. A class being open would look like; meeting new people, talking about whats really on your mind, and respecting each other. Once People only care about people they now, so once we now each other, they we will take care, and wont judge each other.
ReplyDeleteoops that was Christine Ross Cano ^
DeleteI think that trust is really important in this class. if you dont have trust in anyone, youre not ggoing to be able to have a fun time during gym. i hope that throughtout the year, we all learn to trust eachtoher more and more.
ReplyDelete-Andrea Cozzi
To be safe I feel like we all need to trust each other even though we normally wouldn't think about trusting most of the people in the class. There needs to be more of an accepting environment because I'm already feeling frustrated, hurt, left out, and so many other things that I'm sure others are feeling from the situation. It's a little ridiculous that I'm not even able to do a simple task with people because they aren't willing to trust me or listen to me.
ReplyDelete-Cathy Eldredge
(Con't) By following these traits our class should look like we're enjoying the class at the fullest extent. Also, we should have the feeling of being useful by participating in class. The class should sound noisy because our class would be participating a lot.
ReplyDelete-Chris Park-
Trust should be very apparent in the behavior of the class. Students will all be open in speaking and in listening, students will feel safe and free to express there opinions. As for the sound, one shouldn't hear more than one person at a time
ReplyDelete-Zack Mayo
I think friendship should look like our whole class coming together and making friends with people we might not have otherwise met outside this class. We should see people talking to others who they might not have been friends with outside this class. It should feel accepting and safe.
ReplyDelete-Maggie Bednarek
Friendship should look like all of us respecting eachother, being nice and listening to what others have to say. It should feel natural and casual. And it should sound like fun. Full of laughter and patience because it will take a while for all of us in such a big class to get to know everyone.
ReplyDeleteKlaudia Zahuta
Openness looks like us trusting each other in class. It sounds like us talking about stuff that is on our minds because we are comfortable sharing it with the class. It feels like a good community of students who all get along and don't judge each other.
